How does Audio Notetaker work?
As audio is imported or recorded, phrases are visualized as a series of coloured segments in a special audio pane displayed next to the main note-taking pane. This representation allows for easy navigation, labelling and editing of the audio. In fact, you can select, copy, cut and paste the audio in exactly the same way as you can the text. You can then split the recording into sections to make it easier to move from topic to topic, and then tint key sections a different colour to make them stand out.

In a similar way you can use colour to mark important or relevant audio phrases. Use of structuring and colour is quick and easy and allows you to come straight back to important parts of the recording later on.

If you have PowerPoint slides available, you can add these alongside the audio and your notes, so everything is in one place and accessible all together. You can save them all in one “rich audio notes” (ran) document for later review. You can also export to a text document, or to an audio Album suitable for a portable music player.

Finally, there is a file manager that helps manage all your audio and notes files, and allows you to search the text in the notes and slides.
