Claro ScreenRuler Suite CD + USB

Claro Software
Product Overview

ScreenRuler is a unique and popular tool for assisting with reading on the PC. It provides a strip or ruler across the screen, which can have the contrast changed and have the background coloured or greyed out. ScreenRuler works with any piece of software, as it acts as an overlay on the PC screen. From a technical point of view, it should not interfere or clash with the PC video card.

ScreenRuler Modes
There are three possible ScreenRuler modes which are configurable in the ScreenRuler Settings screen.

The three modes are:
  • Ruler - This is the default setting. It provides a reading ruler across the current screen and will shade out above and below the ruler for easier viewing.
  • Underline - Provides a line across the current screen.
  • Overlay - This option provides a full screen colour overlay.
ScreenRuler Settings
Once ScreenRuler has been launched, it will stay as an open application and will work with all software, following the mouse pointer and the typing cursor. The ScreenRuler window can be minimised so it sits in the system tray out of the way. It is possible to change how ScreenRuler looks, by changing the settings in the ScreenRuler window.

ScreenMarker
The ScreenRuler Suite V3 now includes the new Claro ScreenMarker reading and tracking feature. Place multiple markers on the screen, and move around with the mouse. Ideal for proofreading and using during presentations.

ClaroView
With ClaroView, the colour of the overlay can be changed to any colour in the colour spectrum. The tint level can then also be adjusted to make it brighter or darker. As users have different visual preferences, ClaroView allows the colour of the overlay to be set. The colour settings will be retained. There is a single button to reset the colour to the standard display settings.
