Our DSE Assessor Training is a one day training course which can be held at the customer’s premises or at our training suite in the North West.
Whilst the content of the course can be tailored to suit the company or individual, the core element of the training covers the following:
- Health & Safety at Work Act (the significance of the Act, how it relates to assessing)
- DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations
- Basic Biomechanics
- MSD terms
- Spinal structure and function of the back
- Pressures of sitting
- Good Sitting Practices
- Practical Workshops
- Training on correct workstation guidance and configurations
- How to identify and apply the correct product for the individual’s needs.
Up to twelve people can be trained per session to maintain 1-2-1 contact with the group. Certification is gained on completion of the course. Contact us for further information.
