Junior Accounts Assistant


Location: Home based, with ad-hoc requirement to work from the Bolton office
Salary: NMW / NLW applies
Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Barry Bennett are one of the largest suppliers of assistive technology to students in receipt of DSA (Disabled Students’ Allowance) throughout the UK. We provide installation, familiarisation, training and aftercare to students who have been recommended assistive technology following an ‘assessment of study needs.

The Junior Accounts Assistant will form part of our Accounts team within Barry Bennett, providing accounts administration support to the team whilst also receiving ongoing training. An opportunity to complete an Accounts apprenticeship, equal to AAT is also available as part of this position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform any administrative tasks to support the finance team
  • Filling / scanning /working with spreadsheets /collating data
  • Answering department calls
Requirements:
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Clear communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
Further Information:
  • Candidates must be interested and willing to complete the AAT apprenticeship course
