Training for students & assessment centres

Our dedicated team of trainers are all DBS checked and specialise in working with students with visual and hearing impairments, learning difficulties, physical disabilities and mental health issues. Where necessary we can provide chaperones, female only trainers, carer support training and translators for hearing impaired students.

For your piece of mind, our team of 26 trainers are either certified as, or working towards, Edexcel Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (QCF) or equivalent.

We strive to ensure that our pricing is competitive, however, please rest assured that this does not mean we sacrifice the quality of the training we deliver, or indeed the quality of the trainer we employ. Email [email protected] to request a training quotation.

Training sessions can be carried out face-to-face at the student's home, campus or alternatively, remotely via a broadband internet connection.

Training for assessors
We understand how important it is for DSA assessors and support workers to stay abreast of updates to existing software and new products becoming available DSA students. With this in mind we hold annual Spring Workshops which bring together key suppliers of assistive technology hardware, software and ergonomics, and those who support SEN students in secondary and higher education. Delegates can tailor their own timetable, choosing from 15 seminar-style product workshops and visit the exhibition hall which features 20 exhibitor stalls.

If you missed our annual workshops, we can arrange for our team to visit your centre and provide either half or full-day sessions tailored to your own requirements. Simply email us with your details and we will contact you to make the arrangements.
