DSA insurance with Barry Bennett
Your insurance policy covers all of the hardware supplied to you and includes the following benefits:

- Accidental damage, fire damage, liquid damage, malicious damage and theft
- Full reinstatement of all hardware and software to at least the standard originally supplied

Like most insurance policies there are some things we can’t cover. We’ve summarised some of the most important things you need to know here. Unfortunately, we can’t pay your claim if:
- Your equipment is stolen from a motor vehicle between 22:00hrs and 06:00 hrs
- Your equipment is left in the vehicle it can be seen from the outside
- You loan or lend the equipment to anyone else
- You lose or misplace the equipment
- The equipment suffers cosmetic damage or wear and tear

Making a claim
If your machine is physically damaged or stolen, and you have been awarded insurance, please do not be afraid to let us know as this will speed up the claim process.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ORDERS PLACED BEFORE 15.01.2018

and ask for the claims department.
FOR ORDERS PLACED ON OR AFTER 15.01.2018
To make a claim please go online to www.specialty-risks.com/dsa-claims
. If you are not able to make a claim online or would like to speak to a member of the Claims Office, please send an email to email@example.com
or call 03301 000 713 (charged at the rate of a local call). The Claims Office opening hours are Monday to Friday between 09:00 am and 17:00 pm (excluding bank holidays and public holidays).
The Specialty Risks Claims Office will assess your claim on behalf of the Insurer. If they need to ask you for more information, they will contact you using the telephone or email details you give them when you make your claim.
For theft claims please ensure you have reported the theft to the Police and you have received your Crime Reference or Incident Report Number from the Police.
If any of the equipment provided by Barry Bennett is received damaged, please ensure you contact us on 01204 534 311 within 3 working days so we may investigate this for you.
Once your claim has been accepted, the Claims Office with inform Barry Bennett and a member of the technical support team will contact you to arrange collection of the damaged items so that an assessment report and quotation for repair/replacement can be forwarded to the Claims Office for their approval. Once approval has been received from the Claims Office the parts/replacement will be ordered and the repair/replacement will be completed and returned back to you as soon as possible.
Third party insurance for students
If you have chosen to purchase your computer from a third party, or already have an existing machine that you wish to use with your DSA equipment, you will be required to purchase your own insurance. We have been working closely with our insurance partner, Specialty Risks, and have jointly developed a scheme whereby you can obtain an extremely competitive quotation for Accidental Damage, Theft and Breakdown Insurance.
